    March 29 - April 2nd, 2022

Artists & Big arts leaders Connect to strengthen grant applications from our region.

    Calling All Saskatchewan Artists!

Are you currently writing a grant?

    Do you want support?

    ———————————

We invite Artists to offer their current grant applications to a one-week mentorship process supported by a local arts leader.

This is a chance to uplift your application and build capacity through the supportive presence of an outside eye.

Artists are welcome to bring their DRAFTY grants, budgets, and ideas forward to this process.

Curtain Razors and/or the SAA will chat with you, hear where you are in your process, what your goals are, and suggest a ‘B’ to support you in your grant application.

Artists and Big arts leaders will work together to strengthen the artist's grant and honour the artist's intention & goals.

Let's grow relationships between independent artists and arts leaders and organizations. Let's practice reciprocity across the arts sector!

    ————————————

Curtain Razors first offered this program in 2021, inspired by actions taken by Why Not Theatre (Toronto). In its first year, the program supported artists whose applications were collectively awarded $190,000 in grant support. This Spring, Saskatchewan Arts Alliance & Curtain Razors are proudly partnering to grow the impact and reach of this project.

All Saskatchewan artists are welcome with a special invitation to first time applicants!
